The Death of Standing Privilege: Rethinking Privileged Access in Health & Life Sciences
Least privilege has long been a foundation of identity security, but static roles and persistent entitlements can leave elevated access in place long after it’s needed.
At 5:00 PM CT, Britive’s Garrett Long will explore how just-in-time, ephemeral access can replace standing privileges. Access is granted based on identity, context, and business need, then automatically removed when the work is complete.
This dynamic approach can reduce unnecessary privileged access while supporting patient care, research, regulated environments, and critical operations.
